Invitation to Bid for the Purchase of Garbage Compactor to be used at Municipality of Balagtas
- The Municipality of Balagtas, through the General Fund intends to apply the sum of One Million Two Hundred Ten Thousand Pesos ( P 1,210,000.00 ) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Purchase of Garbage Compactor to be used at Municipality of Balagtas (GC -04-21-09). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
- The Municipality of Balagtas now invites bids for Purchase of Garbage Compactor to be used at Municipality of Balagtas (GC -04-21-09). Delivery of the Goods is required 60 days. Bidders should have completed, within April 5 – April 26, 2021 from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
- Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
- Interested bidders may obtain further information from Municipality of Balagtas and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders on April 5 – April 26, 2021 from the address below upon payment of minimal non-refundable amount fee of One Thousand Two Hundred Pesos only ( P 1,200.00 )
It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that Bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.
- The Municipality of Balagtas will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on April 12, 2021 at 10:00am at Municipality of Balagtas, Conference Room, which shall be open to prospective bidders.
- Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below on or before April 26, 2021 at 09:00am. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.
Bid opening shall be on April 26, 2021 at 10:00am at Municipality of Balagtas, Conference Room. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
- Deadline of Submission of Bid documents shall be on April 26, 2021 at 09:00am containing two (2) envelopes in the Office of the Bids and Awards Committee and followed by the opening of bids. The first envelope shall be marked “TECHNICAL PROPOSAL”. The second envelope shall be marked “FINANCIAL PROPOSAL”. Furthermore, the name and address of bidder shall be printed legibly at the upper left corner of the envelopes. The name of the project/goods shall be marked at the center.
- The Municipality of Balagtas reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
